SKILLED IMMIGRATION

Canada offers many pathways to permanent residence for skilled workers, tradespeople, and professionals. Programs fall under three main categories: Federal Economic Programs, Provincial Nominee Programs, and Pilot Programs.

▼  Federal Economic Programs

Managed by IRCC and open to eligible applicants worldwide.

Express Entry

Canada’s online management system for three federal immigration programs. Candidates build a profile, receive a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, and are invited to apply through regular draws. Since 2023, most draws are category-based — targeting French-language proficiency, Canadian experience, healthcare, STEM, education, and trades.

How we can help: We calculate your CRS score, identify which draw categories you qualify for, and manage your full application.

Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)

For skilled professionals with foreign work experience applying for Canadian permanent residence.

  • 1 year of paid skilled work experience (NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3) within the past 10 years
  • CLB 7 in English or French across all four abilities (results valid for 2 years)
  • Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) for education earned outside Canada
  • Scored on a 100-point selection grid — pass mark is 67 points
How we can help: We evaluate your score, fill in any gaps, and prepare a complete application.

Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

For individuals already working in Canada in a skilled occupation. One of the most active Express Entry streams.

  • 1 year of skilled Canadian work experience (TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3) within the past 3 years
  • CLB 7 for TEER 0/1; CLB 5 for TEER 2/3
  • Experience must be gained with valid legal status in Canada
How we can help: ITAs come with a 60-day deadline. We ensure your file is ready the moment you’re invited.

Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)

For qualified tradespeople. No education requirement.

  • 2 years of paid work experience in a qualifying trade (TEER 2 or 3) within the past 5 years
  • CLB 5 in English or French (all four abilities)
  • Valid Canadian job offer of at least 1 year OR a certificate of qualification from a Canadian authority
How we can help: We verify your NOC TEER code and prepare your complete application.

▼  Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP)

Each province and territory (except Quebec) runs its own streams to recruit foreign nationals who meet regional labour market needs.

  • Enhanced streams (Express Entry-linked): A nomination adds 600 CRS points, virtually guaranteeing an invitation to apply
  • Base streams (paper-based): Apply directly to a province without going through Express Entry

Active PNPs:

  • Alberta — Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP)
  • British Columbia — BC PNP
  • Manitoba — MPNP
  • New Brunswick — NBPNP
  • Newfoundland & Labrador — NLPNP
  • Northwest Territories — NTNP
  • Nova Scotia — NSNP
  • Ontario — OINP
  • Prince Edward Island — PEI PNP
  • Saskatchewan — SINP
  • Yukon — YNP
How we can help: We match you to the right provincial stream and manage your full application from EOI to nomination.

▼  Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP)

A permanent program (since 2022) allowing designated employers in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI, and Newfoundland & Labrador to hire skilled foreign workers and international graduates directly — no Express Entry profile required.

  • Valid job offer from a designated Atlantic employer
  • Meet work experience and language requirements for the role (CLB 4–7 depending on position)
  • Direct path to permanent residence
How we can help: We help you connect with designated employers and submit your complete PR application.

 ▼  Pilot Programs

Targeted IRCC initiatives addressing specific regional or sector labour needs.

Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP)

Helps rural and remote communities attract skilled workers willing to settle outside major cities.

  • Job offer from a designated employer in a participating community
  • Meet work experience and language requirements for the role
  • Genuine intent to live and work long-term in the community
How we can help: We identify participating communities, find employer matches, and manage your application.

Francophone Community Immigration Pilot (FCIP)

Recruits francophone and bilingual skilled workers to support French-speaking minority communities outside Quebec.

  • French-language proficiency required (minimum NCLC thresholds vary by occupation)
  • Job offer from a designated employer in a participating francophone community
  • Meet work experience and education requirements for the position
How we can help: We help francophone applicants find the right community match and navigate the full process.
